Hot Toys Mark 4 Ironman (Stealth Ver.)

Update!

What we got here is a Hot Toy's Ironman Mark 4. Now, this fella actually came to me in quite a bad shape. Seriously bad. It was actually bought by my friend (third hand) for quite a good price. Why? It was already repainted. By someone else which my friend bought it from. I'm not sure what that person was thinking, but it was bad. You can have a look at how bad it was here:

So to me, it wasn't just a repaint job...but also an act of mercy in fixing and refurbishing this awesome figure back to it's pristine look. Originally my friend wanted me to do it up back to it's original form, but I suggested might as well smack in a new paint scheme. We discussed and came up with the stealth color scheme. I gave him some color suggestions and he finally chose one. Which is the one that is show right here:

I was really happy with the outcome and I think my client went home happy with this fella. It was a challenge and a treat to be able fix up this guy and give him a paint job that he deserved.

Till next time!

1/60 Yamato VF-1J with GBP Armour (Ground Battle Protector)

Update!

Almost a year ago, I was passed a few Macross VF-1's to repaint with some custom colors. It took me awhile since with the Macross Valkyries I tend to get excited to do so many things to it till I sort of ended up doing nothing...lol.

So end of last month, I sort of struggled to finish up at least two of the works to be displayed at the Anime Festival Asia (AFA...I think that's what it stands for...heh). My client (which is also my good friend) wanted to make his Valks as different and unique as possible. We discussed on a lot of variations and he supplied me with a bunch of reference. And we agreed on one finally. Here's the end product of our endless brainstorming.

I'll be uploading the other fella soon. So keep watch ya!
